Jenn Fox

Senior Security Consultant

Ms. Fox is an experienced security expert with a strong track record of protecting vital infrastructure and improving information security across both public and private sectors. She comes to NST from a Fortune 200 company in the utility industry where she was integral in NERC CIP Compliance procedure development, audit preparation, mock audits, and conducted complex inquiries into potential compliance risks. Previously, Ms. Fox thoroughly enjoyed working at Northrup Grumman Corporation as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) where her daily responsibilities included developing and implementing security policies, regularly monitoring network and system logs to identify potential security issues and conducting security audits to ensure compliance with the NIST regulations and standards.

Ms. Fox joined NST in March 2025.

Earlier in Career

Prior to 2020, Ms. Fox built a nearly 25-year career in national security and public service. At the U.S. Department of State, she held several leadership roles including Chief of Logistics, Deputy Director of Hostage Affairs at U.S. Embassy Baghdad, and Senior Training Administrator at the Diplomatic Security Training Center. She managed global operations, led crisis response teams in high-threat environments, and directed logistics programs for tens of thousands of personnel.

She began her security career in the U.S. Army, where she supported psychological operations and intelligence missions overseas and spent the latter part of her service as Nuclear Arms Inspector and Russian Interpreter with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, conducting arms control inspections throughout the Former Soviet Union.

Education

Ms. Fox is currently enrolled in the Master of Science in Cybersecurity Engineering program at The George Washington University, where she is deepening her expertise in secure systems engineering, threat intelligence, and compliance frameworks. She obtained her MBA with a concentration in Strategic Management & Marketing from Villanova University in 2017 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Ms. Fox also holds several cybersecurity certifications including ISACA Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) and the ISACA Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
