Mr. Webb joined NST in 2017 with over eight years of NERC CIP program experience, which includes mock audits, program gap analysis, and the development of enterprise NERC CIP compliance programs. In addition, Mr. Webb has worked with one of the country’s largest cloud service providers to map the NERC CIP requirements to other cybersecurity frameworks such as SOC2, PCI 3.2, ISO 27000 and FedRAMP Moderate (NIST 800-53 rev.4). Also, Mr. Webb has more than 15 years of Project Management experience.

Since joining NST, Mr. Webb leads the N&ST Supply Chain Risk Management program offerings, developing Supply Chain Risk Management and governance programs for our clients. In addition to the development of Supply Chain Risk Management and governance programs, Mr. Webb has led vendor risk assessment exercises, documented procurement activities, and participated as part of a Supply Chain Risk Management program governance team. Mr. Webb is an active participant with the Reliability and Security Technical Committee (RSTC) Supply Chain Working Group (SCWG) in developing guidelines regarding Supply Chain best practices. Mr. Webb is an active participant as part of a revision team for the North American Transmission Forum’s (NATF) questionnaire and supplier criteria documents.

Prior to joining NST, Mr. Webb’s NERC CIP compliance experience includes:  

  • NERC CIP Lead for Operational Technology SCADA Engineering and CIP Engineering team  
  • NERC CIP Lead Engineer for Generation Operator Information Technology CIP Team in transition to CIP Version 5  
  • Change Management – assessed and developed documents for CIP compliance and procedural operational effectiveness  

Earlier in Career

Previously, Mr. Webb worked in the Financial Lending Industry in various positions of Operational and Sales Management. Mr. Webb established programs for documentation and tracking compliance activities at the Lender, State and Federal levels. Additionally, Mr. Webb earned his PMP Certification in 2014. Mr. Webb worked as an Instructor of Project Management, Risk Management, Economics and Business courses as well as a variety of other General Education material for seven years at multiple Colleges in the Kansas City area.

Mr. Webb earned a BSBA in Finance/Economics and Management as well as an MBA from Rockhurst University in Kansas City.
